Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients:

1 Onion
1 Teaspoon bottled garlic
1/8 Teaspoon bottled chilli to taste
2 Tabs Parsley
1 Teaspoon grated lemon zest
300gm packet of frozen Quorn "mince"
1 Sachet No added salt Tomato Paste
3/4 Teaspoon mustard powder
1 Tab Vinegar
1 Tab Worcestershire Sauce
A squirt of golden syrup
1 x 420gm tin Salt Reduced Condensed Tomato Soup
About 3 cups of any vegetables: ( Celery, Capsicum, Carrot, Pumpkin, Parsnip etc.)

 

Method:

  1. Grate or chop all vegetables

  2. Place in heated pan with a little olive oil, stirring for a few minutes.

  3. Add frozen Quorn mince, stirring to combine

  4. Add all other ingredients.

  5. Simmer gently till vegetables are soft.

  6. Serve over spaghetti or steamed rice.
