1 stick celery*
¼ c red lentils
2 medium carrots *
¼ c chopped parsley
1 large potato *
1 T tomato paste
1 large onion*
1 dash cayenne pepper
Dried mint, 2 good pinches
Dried basil, 1 good pinch
½ t turmeric
1 t salt
1 T Massel chicken style powder
2 t cold pressed olive oil
2½ litres water
Method:
Chop all these vegetables into small pieces
Bring all the ingredients to the boil.
Boil for 10 minutes.
Simmer gently for another 20 minutes or till vegies are
very tender.
