No-Bake Brownies

 

No-Bake Brownies

  • Serves: 24

 

 

Ingredients:

½ c soy milk
1 T tahini
½ c honey
1 T peanut butter
½ c  almond meal
2 T grated orange rind
1 t vanilla essence
1 c coconut
1/3 c carob powder   1½ c quick oats

 

Method:

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat soy milk, honey and vanilla. 
  2. Bring to the boil gently.
  3. Turn heat down to simmer. 
  4. Add tahini, peanut butter, orange rind and carob powder.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add coconut and quick oats.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Prepare a tray by lining with greaseproof paper.
  9. Scoop out 1 T of the mixture at a time. 
  10. Drop the mixture on the greaseproof paper.
  11. Chill in refrigerator.

 

Makes 24 brownies.
