Macaroni Cheese

Pasta

Ingredients:

2 ½ cups Macaroni
1 t Salt

Method:

  1. Cook the 2 ½ cups of macaroni in salted water

  2. When tender, place in a flat casserole dish

 


Sauce

Blend the following in a blender until smooth:

1 cup of raw cashews
¼ cup of lemon juice
1 ½ tsp salt
3 cups water
½ a medium red capsicum chopped
3 T of nutritional yeast flakes
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder

 

Method:

  1. Pour sauce over the macaroni making sure it is well covered.
  2. Stir in 1/8 cup of sliced olives, one fresh tomato cut into cubes, and some dried tomatoes.
  3. Bake for 30-40 minutes at 180°C.
