Coleslaw and Cashew Mayo

 

Polenta Waffles

 

  • Preparation time:
  • Cooking time:
  • Serves:

 

 

Ingredients:

1½ c soaked chick peas or 1 x 420g can (drained)
1¾ c polenta (corn meal)
¾ t salt
3 c water

 

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients into a 6 cup plastic or glass jug. 

  2. Blend with stick blender.

  3. Cook the mixture in a hot non-stick waffle iron.  If not using a non-stick waffle iron, oil it first.

  4. Top waffles with fruit, the Peach and Maple Soft Cream, Tahini Spread.

 

Also good with the following toppings:

Pear Cream
Currant Spread
Fruit Topping
